ESE ES-110 GPS Based Frequency Generator
The ES-110 turns a GPS fix into a stable 10 MHz frequency reference, output simultaneously as a sine wave and a 5V logic square wave so it can feed both RF and digital timing gear from one box. A disciplined, temperature-compensated crystal oscillator holds that frequency to 1x10-8 against the GPS reference, which is accuracy a free-running crystal alone cannot hold over time or temperature.
A 1 PPS output on 5V logic, 50% duty cycle, edges precisely on the UTC second for facilities that need a hard synchronization pulse alongside the frequency reference. The unit ships in a ruggedized desktop enclosure with an indoor/outdoor GPS antenna and 13 ft cable, and pairs with ESE's ES-210 distribution amplifier when the 10 MHz reference needs to be split to multiple destinations.
