Blackmagic ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP
The Blackmagic ATEM 4 M/E Constellation IP is a live production switcher built natively for SMPTE-2110, carrying its 32 inputs and 32 outputs over high-speed 100G Ethernet rather than banks of SDI cables. Across its four M/E rows it offers 16 ATEM Advanced Keyers and 2 SuperSource processors for a total of 12 DVEs, giving a technical director deep layering for graphics, picture-in-picture and complex composites in large studio and outside-broadcast productions.
Four multiviewers can each be set independently to 4, 7, 10, 13 or 16 views for as many as 64 views across four monitors, so operators can watch every source at a glance. The switcher is engineered for full redundancy: SMPTE 2022-7 on all video ports, dual redundant 100G Ethernet connections, redundant PTP clock inputs, 2 x 10G Ethernet control ports and redundant AC power supplies, with front-to-back cooling. It ships as part number BMD-SWATEMSCN2/3ME4/IP.
