Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO 2TB

The ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO is a HD live production switcher that also records the raw material for a full edit. It takes 8 3G-SDI inputs up to 1080p60 and, on top of the finished live program, captures every one of those inputs as a separate H.264 .mp4 file at up to 70 Mb/s with AAC audio. The switcher also brings in up to 8 remote cameras over a local network or across the internet, so a distributed crew can feed one control room.

Because it saves the individual ISO recordings alongside a project, the live show can be reopened later to fix shots, remix audio and add color. Output count is generous, with 12 SDI outputs plus HDMI monitoring, and built-in streaming pushes to RTMP over Ethernet or a shared USB-C connection. Power draws 100W max from either the internal 100-240V AC supply or a 4-pin XLR 12V DC input, and the chassis measures 23 inches wide by 14.8 deep by 6.35 tall. Two configurations are sold: with a 2TB SSD fitted (BMD-SWATEMTVSTC/HD08ISO/2), or with no internal storage (BMD-SWATEMTVSTC/HD08ISO/0) for crews who would rather supply their own external disk.
