Vaddio CeilingMIC Overhead Microphone

The CeilingMIC puts the pickup where the table cannot: overhead, out of reach of paperwork and coffee cups. The visible part is a 2.5 in (6.3 cm) capsule that drops through the ceiling tile on a 15 ft (4.6 m) drop cable; the electronics live in an interface box above the tile, which then runs up to 100 ft (30 m) of cable to the EasyMic port on the host device. That split is what keeps the ceiling looking clean and the cable run practical.

Response is 100 Hz to 16 kHz with THD plus noise under 0.02% and better than 90 dB of dynamic range, which is the range that matters for speech. It is rated for 32 to 104 degrees F (0 to 40 C) at 10 to 80% non-condensing humidity. Installed weight is 2 lbs (0.9 kg). Available in white or black.
