URC HDA-1600-70V Low-Z / 70 Volt Distributed Audio Amplifier
The HDA-1600-70V extends URC's HDA distributed audio system into low-impedance, 70 volt territory, the wiring standard commercial installers use to run one amplifier across many speakers on a single line. It delivers 600 watts per channel into 8 ohms, 1,200 watts per channel into 4 ohms, or 2 x 600 watts at 70 volts, configurable as one stereo channel or two independent mono zones. Two microphone inputs with URC's own DSP and phantom power support live paging alongside the six analog line inputs, and up to ten WAV files can be stored on the chassis for chimes and alerts.
Each zone gets its own 5-band parametric EQ, and a ducking input automatically drops program audio when a page comes through. Audio streams across the HDA network at up to 96 kHz / 24-bit, over a required Gigabit AVB switch, and programming is done in Total Control Accelerator 3 by an authorized dealer. The chassis measures 17.125 x 3.875 x 11.94 inches and weighs 12.25 lbs, sized for a rack in a commercial equipment room.
