URC HDA-SW5 5-Port Gigabit AVB Network Switch

HDA audio distribution moves high resolution audio between amplifiers over the network, and it needs an AVB-capable switch to guarantee the timing. The HDA-SW5 is that switch: five gigabit RJ45 ports, full duplex, handling up to 64 streams of 96 kHz / 24-bit audio with no audible latency.

It is deliberately small, 4.94 by 1.44 by 5 inches and just over half a pound, so it tucks into a rack shelf or a closet next to the amplifiers rather than eating a rack space of its own. Up to seven switches can be linked in a single system as the zone count grows. It runs on a 12-volt DC input.
