Tightrope Cablecast CBL-SVR430-UPG15 Automation and Playout Server Upgrade

Cablecast Pro (CBL-SVR430) is the top-tier station automation controller in the Cablecast line. Rather than playing video itself, it schedules and drives multiple Cablecast SX video servers from a single web-based interface, running program databases, automation and reports for a whole operation. It carries Carousel Server software and supports 100 or more Carousel channels of bulletin board across the station. This SKU is the UPG15 upgrade configuration, priced for operators moving up from an earlier Cablecast Pro system.

The server is a 1RU appliance with front-accessible drives and a 500GB RAID1 system volume, running on Windows Server 2008 R2. For device control it offers one RS-232 plus eight RS-232/422 serial ports to reach routing switchers and legacy decks, with VDCP available as an option on added hardware.
