Tightrope Cablecast CBL-SX2HD-530-UPG15 Two-Channel HD Video Server Upgrade

The CBL-SX2HD-530-UPG15 upgrades a Cablecast station to a current-generation SX2HD automation and video server. The SX2HD is the HD member of the SX2 family: two playback outputs and one recording input on SD/HD-SDI with embedded audio, and unlike breakout-cable designs its connectors are on the chassis directly, so it fits a station moving to an HD SDI plant.

It carries the SX2 multi-format engine, playing back MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DV, Windows Media, QuickTime and H.264, and it includes Cablecast scheduling, automation, channel branding and Carousel server software so playout and on-air graphics run from one server. As an upgrade SKU it is purchased against an existing SX2HD-class system.
