Tightrope Cablecast CBL-SX2-530-UPG15 Two-Channel Video Server Upgrade

The CBL-SX2-530 is a two-channel Cablecast SX video server: two independent playback outputs and one built-in encoder input, each on both composite and SDI. Multi-format playout means producer files air as submitted - MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, and the DV and DVCPRO family all play without a transcode step, so an operator just schedules and airs.

The server carries the full Cablecast automation, scheduling, and Carousel branding framework, controls AV routing switchers and decks over serial, and supports up to fifteen Carousel bulletin-board channels. Content lives on a RAID5 array with a separate system drive, and balanced XLR plus embedded-SDI audio and a black-burst genlock input tie it into a broadcast plant. It occupies 3RU with redundant power.
