Sony HKCU-SM100 CCU Extension Adaptor (Single Mode Fibre)

The HKCU-SM100 works as a pair with the HDCE-100 camera extension adaptor to convert the cable format between a camera head and its base station CCU from SMPTE optical fibre to single mode fibre. The HDCE-100 on its own extends camera-to-CCU distance; adding the HKCU-SM100 takes the maximum out to 10 km.

That covers the case where the camera position and the truck are not on the same site: a stadium tie line, a campus run, a venue that already has single mode in the ground. It works with 4K, HSC and HDC series cameras, and in 4K systems the pair can be used with the BPU-4000 baseband processor unit to supply power to a CA-4000 camera system adaptor or an HDC-4300 camera.
