Sony HXCU-FZ90 4K/HD Camera Control Unit

The HXCU-FZ90 is the camera control unit for Sony's HXC-FZ90 studio camera. It carries the SDI outputs for the channel: 2160/50p, 59.94p and 60.00p over 12G-SDI and 1080/50p, 59.94p and 60.00p over 3G-SDI, with 1080/23.98 PsF, 24 PsF and 29.97 PsF also supported by the processor. Front-panel controls cover shutter, master gain, master black, iris, white and black balance, bars and standard, with an intercom section and a panel-active indicator.

Combined with the HXC-FZ90 camera and the HZC-UHD9 licence, the CCU supports 4K HDR in HLG or S-Log3 within BT.2020 and Sony's SR Live for HDR workflow, so a facility can move from HD to 4K HDR on the same hardware. Add an HXCE-FZ90 extension unit to run the camera on fiber over long distances. Order the connector interface to match the camera head: HXCU-FZ90N is Neutrik, HXCU-FZ90L is Lemo.
