Sony HXCE-FZ90 Camera Extension Unit for HXC-FZ90

The HXCE-FZ90 extends the run between an HXC-FZ90 camera head and its HXCU-FZ90 control unit over optical fiber. Used with Sony's CCFN hybrid cable it reaches 984.25 ft while still supplying power to the camera; on single mode fiber with local power at the camera end it reaches 6.2 miles. All signals - 4K and Full HD video, control, intercom and return - stay on the same connection.

It is a small unit, 4.09 x 2.44 x 14.17 in and about 4 lb 10 oz, with a carrying handle, so it can be tucked into a rack space or set down near the camera position and moved between events. Two optical CON DUO connectors are supplied as standard; the HKC-LC01 and HKC-LC02 Lemo-type fiber connectors are the optional alternative. Compatible hybrid cables are the CCFN-25, 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250, with the CCFN-JC1 coupler for cascading runs.
