Sony CCB-WD1 Camera Control Box for RX0
The CCB-WD1 connects an RX0 camera to a wired network so it can be run from a PC. Each box gets its own IP address, and pairs of camera and box connect through an Ethernet switch, so a whole array of RX0s can be previewed live, adjusted and triggered from one computer, including cameras placed in hard-to-reach positions. Video sync is frame-accurate across cameras, which is what stitching 360-degree or multi-angle footage depends on.
Image files move from the camera card to the PC over the network straight after a take, with assignable camera and file naming to keep multi-camera shoots organised. The box is about the size of the RX0 body itself. A single USB Multi cable carries control, preview, data and power between box and camera; the box runs on the supplied AC adaptor or a USB power bank. A micro USB cable, cable protector and multi-terminal connecting cable are included.
