Softron M|4i, M|8i, and M|8XL MovieRecorder Bundles with Deltacast Card

The M-series bundles are the turnkey version of a Softron ingest station: the MovieRecorder licenses, the capture card, and the license dongle in a single part number, so nothing has to be sourced separately and matched up afterwards. M|4i includes four MovieRecorder licenses and M|8i includes eight, both built around a Deltacast 12G/4C card carrying four channels of 12G-SDI. M|8XL also includes eight MovieRecorder licenses, but steps up to a Deltacast DELTA-12G-e-h 8c card, which doubles the channel count to eight 12G-SDI inputs on the same license count, for facilities that want one card covering eight channels instead of two four-channel cards.

The software is full MovieRecorder on macOS across all three: edit-while-ingest recording of SD, HD, and 4K feeds in ProRes, H.264, AVC-Intra, DV/DVCPRO, DNxHD, IMX, or XDCAM, wrapped as MXF Op1a or QuickTime, with CEA-608 and CEA-708 caption tracks, metadata, external audio including Dante, overlays, RS422 deck control and batch capture, and slave-mode redundancy. That makes these bundles the practical starting point for a facility building a four, eight, or eight-channel-on-one-card ingest position around a Mac.
