Tascam SS-R250N Networked SD and USB Recorder
The SS-R250N is the disc-free member of the SS-250 series, recording and playing SD and USB media at up to 96 kHz and 24-bit. Dual SD slots support mirror recording for redundancy or relay recording for sessions longer than one card, which covers both the legal-record and the long-form logging cases.
The FTP client uploads recordings to a server automatically and can fetch files for playback, and the event list automates recording, playback and transfer against the clock. Analog I/O is balanced XLR plus unbalanced RCA, AES/EBU runs at 44.1, 48 and 96 kHz, and MP3 capture is available from 64 to 320 kbps when file size matters more than fidelity.
