Shure SLXD2+B58
The SLXD2+/B58 is a handheld transmitter from Shure's SLX-D+ generation, fitted with the Beta 58A supercardioid dynamic capsule. The Beta 58A brings a hotter output and enhanced midrange to the familiar rugged handheld, using a neodymium magnet and a tight supercardioid pattern that rejects off-axis sound and delivers strong immunity to feedback on a loud stage. A shock-mounted cartridge and hardened grille keep it working night after night.
SLX-D+ builds on the SLX-D platform with a wider 138 MHz tuning range for easier frequency coordination across more locations, carrying the vocal as transparent 24-bit digital audio with better than 118 dB of dynamic range and 2.8 ms of latency. AES-256 encryption secures the link, and two AA batteries deliver up to eight hours of runtime, with Shure's SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable an available upgrade. The transmitter pairs with SLXD4+ and SLXD4D+ receivers.
