Shure SLXD2+58
The SLXD2+/58 is the handheld transmitter for Shure's SLX-D+ hybrid digital wireless, fitted with the legendary SM58 cardioid dynamic capsule. It puts the SM58's tailored 50 to 15,000 Hz vocal voicing and tight cardioid pattern on a transmitter that carries transparent 24-bit digital audio with better than 118 dB of dynamic range and just 2.8 ms of latency.
The SLX-D+ platform widens tuning to 138 MHz for easier deployment across regions and adds AES 256-bit encryption for secure channels. Its ShowLink Ease link keeps transmitter and receiver in sync, scanning for clean channels automatically. Two AA batteries run up to 8 hours, or step up to the optional SB903 lithium-ion pack, and the SM58 head unthreads for a different SLX-D+ capsule when the job changes.
