Shure SLXD14+SM35
The SLXD14/SM35 is Shure's SLX-D wireless headworn system, pairing the SM35 cardioid condenser performance headset with the SLXD1 bodypack transmitter and SLXD4 receiver. The SM35 wraps over the ears and places the capsule at the corner of the mouth, keeping a consistent level as a presenter, fitness instructor, or performer moves, while its cardioid pattern rejects off-axis sound to hold back feedback. The link carries transparent 24-bit audio with 118 dB of dynamic range and no gain to set.
Setup is scan-and-sync: the SLXD4 finds an open frequency and deploys it to the transmitter over IR, and up to 32 channels are available per band with up to 10 compatible systems in a 6 MHz TV band. The SLXD1 runs up to 8 hours on two AA batteries or moves to the optional SB903 rechargeable battery. The system ships with the SM35 headset, two windscreens, a headset clip, receiver antenna and rackmount accessories, and two AA batteries, and is offered in the G58, H55, and J52 frequency bands.
