Shure MX391W O
The MX391W-A/O is a Microflex boundary microphone with an omnidirectional cartridge, a low-profile condenser designed to lie flat on a conference table, lectern, or altar and disappear into the surface. The omni pattern picks up evenly from all directions, which suits a group seated around a table or any situation where talkers move and you want consistent level without aiming. The white (W) finish blends into light furniture and tabletops.
An attached 12 ft cable ends in a 4-pin mini connector that plugs into a detachable in-line preamp with an XLR output, keeping the boundary plate itself clean and small. The cartridge is interchangeable, so a cardioid or supercardioid capsule can replace the omni when a room needs tighter rejection. It responds from 50 to 17,000 Hz, handles up to 117.5 dB SPL, and runs on 11-52V phantom power.
