The GLXD24R+/B87A is a rack-mounted digital wireless vocal system that trades frequency coordination headaches for automatic, dropout-free operation. It pairs the GLXD4R+ half-rack receiver with a GLXD2+ handheld transmitter carrying the BETA 87A supercardioid condenser capsule, a mic voiced for lead vocals with detailed highs and strong feedback rejection. Shure's Dual Band technology lets the system work across both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz license-free ranges, doubling the available bandwidth and stepping around interference on its own.

Smart frequency management continuously monitors the spectrum and moves to a clean channel if trouble appears, and auto-pairing links transmitter to receiver in seconds. The proprietary SB904 lithium-ion battery delivers up to 12 hours per charge and recharges in the receiver or over USB-C while still in the mic, with a 15-minute quick charge yielding about 1.5 hours.
