Shure GLXD2+/SM58
The GLXD2+/SM58 is a dual-band digital handheld transmitter fitted with the SM58, the cardioid dynamic capsule that has defined live vocals for decades. Its tailored midrange lift and bass roll-off deliver the warm, present, feedback-resistant sound performers rely on, now carried over Shure's GLX-D+ digital link. Dual Band operation across the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz license-free ranges gives the system room to find clean spectrum and hold a stable, transparent signal.
This is the transmitter on its own, meant to add a channel or a familiar SM58 to any GLX-D+ receiver, which is sold separately. It runs on the intelligent SB904 lithium-ion rechargeable battery, included, for up to 12 hours per charge, and recharges over USB-C in the mic or in a GLX-D+ receiver's front-panel bay, with a 15-minute quick charge good for about 1.5 hours. RF output is 10 mW.
