Shure GLXD2+/B58
The GLXD2+/B58 is the handheld transmitter for Shure's GLX-D+ digital wireless system, fitted with the Beta 58A capsule. The Beta 58A's supercardioid dynamic element gives lead vocals a bright, present sound with strong off-axis rejection to hold back feedback on a busy stage. It slots into a GLX-D+ system as the wireless mic that a GLXD4+ or GLXD4R+ receiver pairs to.
Power comes from the rechargeable SB904 lithium-ion battery, good for up to 12 hours and quick-charged over USB-C at the base of the handle or on a receiver dock. Working with the receiver, it uses Dual Band technology across the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ranges to find and hold a clean channel automatically.
