Shure GLXD14+/B98 Gooseneck System Dual-Band Digital Wireless Instrument System
The GLXD14+/B98 is a digital wireless instrument system aimed at brass, woodwinds, and percussion, where a clip-on mic frees the player from a stand and a mic cable. It teams the GLXD4+ tabletop receiver and a GLXD1+ bodypack transmitter with the BETA 98H/C, a cardioid condenser on a flexible gooseneck that clamps to the bell or rim and stays put as the player moves. Shure's Dual Band technology works across both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz license-free ranges, doubling the bandwidth and dodging interference automatically.
Auto-pairing links transmitter and receiver in seconds, and smart frequency management keeps the link clean by moving to an open channel whenever the spectrum gets busy. The proprietary SB904 lithium-ion battery runs up to 12 hours per charge, recharges in the receiver or over USB-C in the bodypack, and delivers about 1.5 hours from a 15-minute quick charge. The system ships with the GLXD4+ receiver, GLXD1+ bodypack, BETA 98H/C instrument microphone, SB904 battery, PS24US power supply, carrying case, and user guide.
