Shure GLXD+FM
The GLXD+FM is the Dual Band Frequency Manager for Shure's GLX-D+ digital wireless, the piece that turns a handful of individual receivers into a coordinated multi-channel rig. It links up to six GLXD4R+ half-rack receivers through their RF ports, handling antenna distribution and automatic frequency management across the group so channels stay clean and stable in demanding, high-count setups where manual coordination would break down.
Because it works across both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz license-free ranges, the manager scans both spectrums and steers each receiver-transmitter pair to the band with the most open frequencies, then moves to a backup automatically if interference appears. For larger productions, up to three Frequency Managers daisy-chain together as a single managing unit to coordinate as many as 16 receivers, delivering the RF performance and channel density that theater, worship, and touring rigs need.
