Sennheiser EW-D ME2 SET Digital Wireless Lavalier System
The EW-D ME2 SET is Sennheiser's Evolution Wireless Digital lavalier system built around the ME 2 omnidirectional clip-on microphone. The ME 2 is an unobtrusive electret condenser tuned for clear, intelligible speech, which makes the set a natural fit for presenters, houses of worship, theater, and broadcast where the mic should disappear on the lapel. Digital transmission delivers a flat 20 Hz to 20 kHz response, a 134 dB dynamic range, and just 1.9 ms of latency, so what reaches the receiver is a clean, detailed copy of the voice.
The EW-D SK bodypack transmitter runs up to 8 hours on two AA cells or 12 hours on the optional BA 70 rechargeable pack, and pairs with the half-rack EW-D EM receiver over Bluetooth Low Energy for one-touch setup from the stage. Up to 56 MHz of switching bandwidth makes it easy to find a clean channel, and the Smart Assist app handles remote control. This set is offered in the Q1-6 (470.2-526 MHz), R1-6 (520-576 MHz), and R4-9 (552-607.8 MHz) UHF ranges, and the box holds the EW-D EM receiver, EW-D SK bodypack, ME 2 lavalier, two rod antennas, power supply, and rackmount hardware.
