Sennheiser AVX-MKE2 SET-4 Digital Wireless Lavalier System

The AVX-MKE2 SET-4 is the upgraded lavalier configuration of Sennheiser's AVX camera-wireless system. It swaps the ME 2 for the MKE 2, an omnidirectional condenser lavalier known for its water-resistant capsule and full, natural voice, on an SK AVX bodypack. The plug-on EKP AVX receiver drops into the camera's XLR input and runs license-free in the 1.9 GHz band, with automatic frequency management choosing a clear channel at power-up so the operator can just clip on and roll.

The receiver switches on and off with the camera's P48 phantom power, and the included EKP AVX adapter and CI 400 cable adapt it for DSLR bodies. AES 256 encryption keeps the link secure, and 24-bit / 48 kHz transmission at roughly 19 ms latency holds the audio clean and lip-synced. The metal-housed kit ships with the EKP AVX receiver, SK AVX bodypack, MKE 2 lavalier, two rechargeable batteries (BA 20 and BA 30), the EKP AVX adapter, NT 5-10U power supply, CI 400 cable, and a bag.
