Sennheiser MKE 2 ( EW) Lavalier Microphone

The MKE 2 is Sennheiser's professional subminiature omnidirectional lavalier, the clip-on chosen for broadcast, theater, and film when a mic has to disappear and still sound like the person wearing it. The omni capsule captures a natural, full-range voice from any angle, so head turns do not change the tone, and its dual-diaphragm construction resists sweat and moisture through long shoots and stage runs. This is the beige version, the color to reach for against lighter skin, clothing, and sets.

The capsule ships with a set of frequency response caps: the short cap for a flatter, open sound when the mic is exposed, and the long cap to lift the highs back when it is hidden under clothing. It is terminated with the ew (Evolution Wireless) connector for Sennheiser evolution bodypacks, and the kit includes short and long frequency caps, a mic clamp, a windshield, and make-up caps.
