Sennheiser e825-S Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Microphone
The e 825-S is Sennheiser's workhorse cardioid dynamic for lead and backing vocals, the switched member of the e 800 family. Its cardioid pattern favors the voice and turns away monitor and PA spill, which controls feedback on a busy stage, and a gentle presence lift keeps a vocal forward in a dense mix without sounding harsh. It is the kind of mic that gets handed out for a whole band and simply works.
A rugged metal body, a shock-mounted capsule, and a hum-compensating coil keep handling and buzz low, while an internal pop filter tames plosives up close. The silent on/off switch lets a presenter or singer cut the channel without a thump through the system. It ships with a microphone clip and a pouch.
