RDL AV-HK1 Stereo Transformer Isolation, Unbalanced High Impedance

The RDL AV-HK1 is a stereo transformer isolation module built to solve the most common noise problem in a mixed AV rack: the ground loop that puts a steady hum into unbalanced consumer audio. Studio-quality transformers sit in the left and right signal paths and pass the audio while cutting the DC ground connection that lets hum in, so a source and destination on different power circuits can share a clean stereo feed. It is intended for unbalanced, high-impedance line audio at a nominal -10 dBV into 10 kohm.

Input and output connections are on gold-plated phono (RCA) jacks, with the left and right jacks oriented so they read correctly when facing each end panel. The module is finished in RDL Dark ULTRASTYLE and is small enough to tuck behind a rack shelf or inside a cabinet. Two adapter cables are included to interface with gear that uses stereo mini-plugs and jacks, including a dual phono to stereo mini-plug cable.
