Panasonic AJ-CX4000 4K Camera
The AJ-CX4000 is a shoulder-mount 4K/HDR camcorder built around a large 2/3-type 4.4K MOS sensor that resolves 2000 TV lines with high sensitivity and low noise. It takes standard 2/3-type B4 bayonet lenses, so broadcast ENG glass carries straight over, and it captures HDR with Hybrid Log Gamma for high-contrast field work in news and sports.
Recording uses the high-efficiency HEVC codec for 4K 10-bit at low bit rates alongside the MXF P2 format with AVC-Intra and AVC-LongG for HD broadcast delivery. Media splits across one expressP2 slot and two microP2/SDXC slots. A standard 12G-SDI output carries UHD 60p 10-bit 4:2:2, with 3G-SDI and HDMI alongside it, and the camera supports NDI-based and IP streaming workflows. It ships as a body only; lens, viewfinder, microphone, and battery are ordered separately.
