Martin VDO Sceptron 20 LED Video Batten
The VDO Sceptron 20 halves the pixel count of the Sceptron 10 and doubles the spacing, putting fifty RGB pixels on a 20 mm pitch across a 1000 mm bar. It is the version to reach for when the audience is far enough back that a 10 mm pitch is wasted resolution, or when the budget has to cover a lot of linear metres. Output is 375 lumens per metre calibrated at 125 cd per metre, and the viewing angle stays 120 by 120 degrees.
Everything else matches the rest of the Sceptron family, so mixed-pitch designs behave predictably. Color runs 16 bits per channel, refresh is 1001 Hz standard and 4004 Hz in high-refresh mode, and control is either direct DMX or the Martin P3 system controller with video mapping. Power and data arrive on one 6-pin IP66-rated BBD connector at 48 VDC, and the 1000 mm bar draws 15 W at full intensity. The extruded aluminium housing is IP65 rated for outdoor use across a minus 30 to plus 55 degrees C range. This listing is the 1000 mm unit, P/N 90357665; a 320 mm version, P/N 90357660, is also stocked.
