Martin Exterior Wash Honeycomb Louvre
Exterior Wash fixtures are usually mounted where people walk past them, and a bare aperture at eye level is the fastest way to get a lighting scheme complained about. The honeycomb louvre fits over the front of the fixture and blocks sightlines into the source from off-axis angles, so the wall stays lit and the fixture stops staring back. It also trims spill that would otherwise land where it was not wanted.
The cells cut a small amount of output rather than reshaping the beam, so the aiming and the diffuser choice made during commissioning still hold. Each louvre is machined for one specific fixture, and Martin publishes a distinct part number per model rather than one per series, so order by the exact fixture on the drawing: 91611844 for the Exterior Wash 210, 91611837 for the 310 and 91611858 for the 300.
