Martin ELP CL LED Ellipsoidal Body, Black
The ELP CL is Martin's color-mixing LED ellipsoidal, and this listing is the body only, so you pick the lens tube that matches the throw. Ninety-one Luxeon Rebel emitters are split across five colors, nineteen red, twenty-four green, twelve blue, twenty-four lime and twelve amber. The lime and amber channels are what let the fixture render skin and fabric properly instead of leaving the greens and warm tones hollow the way a straight RGB engine does.
Two output modes trade brightness against color quality: high output gives 6,900 lumens at 5500 K and 85 CRI, while high quality gives 5,900 lumens at 6000 K and 90 CRI. The tunable range runs 2000 to 10000 K with twenty-six presets on board. Dimming is 16-bit with four curve options for matching tungsten in a repertory rig. Control is 1, 10 or 17 DMX channels with RDM over 5-pin XLR, power is powerCON TRUE1 at 100 to 240 V drawing 259 W typical, and the body weighs 7.7 kg. Fixed Martin lens tubes are available in 19, 26, 36 and 50 degrees, with 15 to 30 and 25 to 50 degree zoom tubes as an alternative.
