Martin JEM ZR45 Fog Machine, 120V

The JEM ZR45 is the large machine in the ZR line, the one specified when a room is big enough that a compact fogger spends the whole show catching up. The US version runs an 1800 W heat exchanger and produces 1300 cubic metres of fog per minute at full output, with variable control so the same machine can also hold a light haze through dialogue. Warm-up is ten minutes and it will run continuously once up to temperature.

The 5 litre tank feeds a maximum consumption of 210 ml per minute. Control is a single DMX channel with RDM to ANSI/ESTA E1.20 plus the integrated digital remote, and connectors are Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 for mains, 5-pin XLR for DMX and 3-pin XLR for the remote. The US model draws 15.0 A at 110 V, so plan a dedicated 20 A circuit. The chassis is 602 by 395 by 306 mm and weighs 17.7 kg dry, 22.7 kg with a full tank.
