Martin JEM Hazer Pro Water-Based Hazer, 120V

The JEM Hazer Pro is the water-based hazer that rental houses buy when they need the beams to show without the residue, the smell or the smoke-detector arguments that come with an oil cracker. A 600 W trackless heat exchanger and a high-pressure oscillating piston pump break the fluid into a fine, even suspension that covers 5500 cubic metres per hour, and it is ready in six minutes.

The integrated blower runs 200 to 2500 rpm on its own DMX channel, so haze density and how far it is pushed into the room are controlled separately. Three DMX channels cover haze, fan and control, with RDM to ANSI/ESTA E1.20. A full 2.5 litre tank runs 10.5 hours at full output and up to 65 hours at minimum, which covers a long theatre run without a refill. Connectors are powerCON TRUE1 for mains, 3-pin and 5-pin XLR for DMX and link, and 3-pin XLR for the remote. The US version runs 100 to 130 V at 6.0 A, and the machine measures 565 by 271 by 298 mm at 15 kg dry. JEM C-Plus haze fluid is the matched formula.
