HK Audio LINEAR 5 MK II 110 XA Active 10 inch Loudspeaker

The LINEAR 5 MK II 110 XA is the compact top of the LINEAR 5 MK II range. A 10-inch cone driver on a 2-inch voice coil crosses at 2.1 kHz to a 1-inch compression driver with a 1.4-inch voice coil, both behind a rotatable constant directivity horn covering 80 by 60 degrees. Biamped Class D power is 600 W RMS and 1200 W peak, giving 127 dB average and 135 dB peak from a cabinet weighing 32.8 pounds.

The rotatable horn matters in practice: the same box works upright on a pole and on its side as a fill without the pattern turning sideways with it. Behind the DSP preamplifier are an XLR/jack combo input, an analog XLR through, a separate DSP output, and an Ethercon network port for control and monitoring across a system. Mains is an IEC connector with a V-lock catch running on 100 to 240 V.
