The LINEAR 5 112 X is a passive 2-way multifunction cabinet, pairing a 12-inch cone driver on a 2.5-inch voice coil with a 1-inch compression driver on a rotatable constant-directivity horn set to 60 by 40 degrees. Rated at 500 W RMS and 1,000 W program, it reaches 135 dB peak with response from 72 Hz, and the multifunctional cabinet shape works standing as a main PA cabinet or laid on its side as a stage monitor when paired with a subwoofer.

The hybrid birch plywood and MDF cabinet is finished in jet black water enamel, connects through a single NL4 Speakon input and parallel output, and weighs 43 pounds.
