Crestron MPC4-102-B 4-Series Media Presentation Controller 102

The MPC4-102-B puts a complete 4-Series control processor behind a nine-button wall plate, so a classroom or huddle room gets source selection, display control and volume without a separate processor anywhere in the room. It runs native .AV Framework software, supports up to ten simultaneous programs, and carries a battery-backed real-time clock. Nine projected capacitive buttons take any of 25 prelabeled icon chips or five blackout chips, all included.

Behind the plate are the control ports that make it self-sufficient: a bidirectional RS-232 COM port, an IR/serial port and two Versiport digital or analogue I/O on detachable terminal blocks, two isolated relays rated 1 A at 30 VAC/DC, and a Cresnet master port. A 940 nm proximity sensor adjustable from 8 to 35 in wakes the panel on approach and a photosensor handles backlight brightness. It flush mounts in a 1-gang U.S. box, in a 2-gang box with the MPC3-101/102/201-RMB bracket, or in a rectangular lectern cutout with the bracket provided, and runs from PoE at 4.5 W typical.
