Crestron MPC4-201-B 4-Series Media Presentation Controller 201
The MPC4-201-B is the compact member of the 4-Series controller line: a 3.42 in square plate carrying six programmable capacitive buttons and a full control processor, sized to drop into the 1-gang European DIN 49073 box that an existing MPC3 series controller already occupies. It runs native .AV Framework, supports up to ten simultaneous programs and carries 2 GB of SDRAM.
The six assignable buttons take any of 25 prelabeled icon chips or five blackout chips, both included, with custom laser-etched chips available separately, and a mute button, plus and minus volume pair, blue volume bargraph and power button sit alongside them. A 940 nm proximity sensor wakes the panel from 8 to 35 in and a photosensor drives three levels of backlight brightness. Power is PoE at 3 W typical over gigabit Ethernet. With the MPC3-101/102/201-RMB bracket it retrofits into a 2-gang U.S. box, and the MPC3/MPB3-TTK-SQR-B kit makes it a tabletop unit.
