Crestron DIN-1DIM4 4-Channel DIN Rail Dimmer, 1 Feed
The DIN-1DIM4 puts four dimmer channels on a DIN rail behind a panel door, fed from a single line input at 120 to 277VAC, 50/60 Hz. Each channel carries 5 A, up to 600 W at 120VAC and 1385 W at 277VAC, with the whole module capped at 10 A. Phase-synchronous detection circuitry sets the operating mode against the actual load rather than a dip switch, and each channel can be run as a dimmer or forced to non-dim, which is how a fan or a receptacle circuit ends up on the same module as the lights.
Load types cover leading edge ELV, incandescent, neon and cold cathode, magnetic low voltage, dimmable 2-wire fluorescent and non-dim, with a 15 W per channel minimum on incandescent and magnetic low voltage. It joins the system in Cresnet secondary mode over two paralleled NET terminal blocks and draws only 0.6 W from the bus when line power is absent, so it stays addressable during a service shutdown. The front carries a 2-digit NET ID display that doubles as an output level readout, per-channel mode and load buttons with status LEDs, and an OVERRIDE input for an external low-voltage contact closure. Line, neutral, dimmed live and ground all land on captive screw terminals accepting up to 12 AWG.
