Crestron CP4N 4-Series Control System with Control Subnet

The CP4N takes the CP4 back panel and adds the port that changes how a building is wired: a second 100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 marked CONTROL SUBNET. That port runs its own DHCP server, DNS server and auto-discovery for Crestron devices only, so touch screens, wireless gateways and DM endpoints live on a network the IT department does not have to provision, address or troubleshoot. On a corporate LAN with strict policy, that is often the difference between a job that ships and a job that waits.

Everything else matches the CP4: the 4-Series engine, 2 GB SDRAM and 8 GB flash, eight normally open isolated relays at 1 A, eight Versiport digital/analog I/O ports, eight IR/serial outputs to 1.2 MHz, and three COM ports with COM 1 selectable as RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. Cresnet runs in primary mode from a 4-pin terminal block and passes 24VDC from the included PW-2420RU pack. Storage expands with an SD or SDHC card to 32 GB and USB mass storage to 1 TB, and a front USB Type B port handles setup.
