Crestron MC4-I 4-Series Control System, International
The MC4-I is the international version of the compact MC4 control system, sized for single-room media systems, smaller commercial spaces and multi-dwelling units where a rack-mounted processor is more than the job needs. It runs the 4-Series engine with a real-time preemptive multitasking kernel, 1 GB of SDRAM and 8 GB of flash, and supports up to ten simultaneously running programs with the appropriate licence.
A built-in infiNET EX and ER wireless gateway acquires Crestron wireless devices directly, so keypads, thermostats and shade motors join without a separate gateway. Wired control comes off one RS-232 COM port, four IR outputs, two isolated relays and two Versiport I/O ports, with a Cresnet master port supplying 2.5 W to powered peripherals. The whole unit draws PoE over its gigabit Ethernet port at 7 W typical, and mounts freestanding, on a surface, on a single rack rail, or in 1RU with the included ears.
