Crestron CNTBLOCK Cresnet Distribution Block
When eight Cresnet home runs arrive at the same rack, they have to land somewhere. The CNTBLOCK gives them eight 4-pin 5 mm detachable terminal blocks in one metal chassis, so the bundle terminates neatly instead of being wire-nutted behind the equipment. It is a passive distribution point, not a hub: all eight ports sit on the same bus.
Three LEDs on the face make troubleshooting a bus fault a matter of looking rather than metering. A green PWR LED confirms 24VDC Cresnet power is present at any NET port, and separate red Y and Z LEDs show the presence and integrity of each Cresnet data signal, which is what tells an installer whether a short is on the data pair or the power pair. The black metal chassis has two integral mounting flanges and can sit freestanding or be surface mounted; at 5.75 in. wide and 0.92 in. high it fits under a table or on the side of a cabinet.
