Whirlwind SB Series Multichannel Passive Mic Splitter

The SB Series is the multichannel passive splitter that goes on the stage rather than in the rack. Each channel has a Whirlwind WC3FQ female XLR input wired to two WC3MQ male XLR outputs, supplied either as two direct outputs or as one direct and one transformer isolated output.

Ground lift switches are an ordered option, and a box specified without them has pin 1 of the isolated output permanently connected to pin 1 of the input. The 1G models add a ground lift switch that lifts the split output only. The boxes are built from heavy cold rolled steel because they get treated like stage furniture. Channel counts of 6 and 20 are also catalogued by Whirlwind; the configurations priced here are 8, 12, 16 and 24 channels.
