Whirlwind DA-2 Line Level Distribution Amplifier
The DA-2 is a line level distribution amplifier for feeds that have to go to several places at once and arrive at the right level in each. In normal stereo mode it gives four outputs from each of two inputs; a front panel COMBINE switch applies both inputs to all eight outputs, turning it into a one or two in, eight out DA.
Every output is ground lifted and has its own level control and clip indicator. Input signals are watched by signal present and clip LEDs, and the headphone circuit can be switched to monitor either channel. All audio connections are actively balanced line level XLRs. Where transformer isolation is required as well, the 1U eight channel ISO-8 accessory covers it.
