Vaddio Ceiling Speakers, Pair

These speakers are sold and packaged as a pair, and they are tuned for the one job most conference rooms and classrooms need doing: making the far end of a call sound like a person rather than a telephone. The two-way design uses a coaxially mounted cone tweeter over a 4 inch metalized cone woofer with rare-earth neodymium magnets and a neoprene surround, which is a construction chosen for clarity and for lasting in a ceiling.

Installation is deliberately quick. The grille attaches magnetically for a clean face with no visible fixings, a ceiling tile brace is included, and the removable phoenix-style plug lets the cable be terminated on the bench and plugged in at the ceiling. They can be mounted in a ceiling or on a wall, and present an 8 ohm nominal load at 88 dB SPL 1W/1M nominal sensitivity.
