WEM CUSTOM WEM STARFINDER 1967 412F

The Custom Starfinder 1967 412F is the full 4x12, cut to the historical Starfinder dimensions in 18 mm birch ply and built to sit under a high-wattage British head all night without the panels working loose. Four 12 inch drivers in a box this stiff move a lot of air, and the drivers are mounted low in the baffle, which is where the weight in the bottom end comes from rather than from any porting.

Stock loading is four Custom Hiwatt Fane F75s for 300 watts of handling, and because each cabinet is made to order the Fane Purpleback takes that to 600 watts, or the Park Celestion Greenback 25-12 can be fitted for the older voicing. It is handwired and tested in the WEM Custom Shop in England, with the traditional WEM badge and a hand-punched, hand-numbered serial plate.
