WEM CUSTOM WEM STARFINDER 1967 212F

The Custom Starfinder 1967 212F is the 2x12 in WEM's made-to-order Custom line, cut to the historical Starfinder dimensions and built from 18 mm birch ply. Two 12 inch drivers in a box this size give you more air and more headroom than a 1x12 without the footprint of a 4x12, which is the reason it tends to end up on smaller stages and in studios. The speakers sit low in the baffle, and that placement is what pushes the low end forward.

Stock loading is a pair of Custom Hiwatt Fane F75s for 150 watts of handling; the Fane Purpleback takes that to 300 watts, and the Park Celestion Greenback 25-12 is available if you want the vintage voicing instead. Every cabinet is handwired and tested in the WEM Custom Shop in England, wears the traditional WEM badge, and carries a hand-punched, hand-numbered serial plate.
