WEM Silver Starfinder 112

The Silver Starfinder 112 is the compact cabinet in WEM's standard Starfinder line: one 12 inch driver in a birch ply box, British engineered, in the silver-fronted livery the range is named for. Birch ply is the reason it holds its shape and its voicing over years of loading in and out, and it is a small enough footprint to work as a studio cab or a stage monitor for a low-wattage head.

It is loaded with the F150, a 150 watt 12 inch driver that stays clean at the volumes a British valve head runs at rather than compressing early, and the cabinet is wired at 16 ohms. That impedance is the one most vintage-voiced heads expect on a single-cab connection, so it plugs straight in without an adapter or a rethink of the speaker jack.
