URC MRX-12 Total Control Advanced System Controller

The MRX-12 is the rack mount Total Control controller aimed at medium to large residential jobs and mid-size commercial rooms. It is the piece that holds the system together, running the automation logic and talking to third-party gear over IP, IR, and RS-232 at the same time. The chassis is deliberately shallow at 5.67 inches so it drops into reduced-depth racks and credenzas that will not take a full-depth processor.

On the rear panel are six 3.5mm IR emitter ports, two RS-232 serial ports wired TX, RX and GND, one relay configurable as normally open, normally closed, or common, one 12 volt output, and two programmable sensor ports for URC sensors. Network is a single 10/100/1000 RJ45 port. The unit is 17.05 inches wide, 1.68 inches high, and weighs 3.02 lbs; rack ears, six IR emitters, an AC power adapter, a power cord, and an adjustment tool are in the box. Professional programming by an authorized URC dealer is required.
